-- This file: -- http://anggtwu.net/TannerLectures/README.html -- http://anggtwu.net/TannerLectures/README -- (find-angg "TannerLectures/README") -- Author: Eduardo Ochs <eduardoochs@gmail.com> This is my tutorial on using PDF-like documents in eev: (find-pdf-like-intro) http://anggtwu.net/eev-intros/find-pdf-like-intro.html For many years I used J.M. Coetzee's "The Lives of Animals" in many of its examples, because 1) it is one of my favorite books and 2) it was publically available. "The Lives of Animals" was written for the Tanner Lectures, and it could be downloaded from this URL: https://tannerlectures.utah.edu/_documents/a-to-z/c/Coetzee99.pdf Then at some point in 2024 it was removed from website of the Tanner Lectures, but its Wikipedia page said that it could be downloaded from The Internet Archive using the long URL below: https://tannerlectures.org/lectures/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lives_of_Animals https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lives_of_Animals#References https://web.archive.org/web/20110925114730/http://www.tannerlectures.utah.edu/lectures/documents/Coetzee99.pdf Then in october/2024 the Internet Archive was hacked, https://www.theverge.com/2024/10/11/24268040/internet-archive-data-breach-outage-hacked and the URL above stopped working... and as a temporary solution I uploaded a copy of the PDF to this URL, http://anggtwu.net/TannerLectures/Coetzee99.pdf and in 2024oct13 I adjusted (find-pdf-like-intro) to point to it.
